From chapter one, I was already bracing for that ridiculous plot twist stereotypical that of the yaoi/BL genre... but I didn't get squat. That might be a bad thing but I didn't expect to find it kind of refreshing. Yeah, the plot was pretty bland and they didn't even legit kiss (yet!). I almost thought the author wanted to write a gay story but hestitated to make it "too gay".
The story's blandness has kind of a pleasant feel to it, though. At least, I'm not cringing (due to second hand embarrassment) so much like I always do reading yaoi/BL (BJ Alex- the biggest cringefest compilation extravaganza. I BLAME DG).
Another good thing is that one of the MCs is Bi. Bi representation is always welcome.
