Seriously is what is with this inconsistent vampire. It’s like the author can’t make up her mind about how he interacts with the main character.

You used "bipolar" incorrectly. Bipolar just means you have periods of depression and periods of excitement that are abnormal in their intensity and duration. I don't think you meant to imply that the character was either too happy or too sad, rather it seems you are indicating inconsistencies in the character's behavior/motives. I think it would be better to use descriptive terms like "volatile" to make your point instead of referencing a mood disorder. Because it makes your point more accurate and it doesn't contribute to the stigma experienced by people with disorders.

I say this because I am bipolar and it is difficult to let people know that I'm bipolar because they misunderstand what that means and incorrectly associate it with harmful behaviors. Casual, incorrect references to the disorder like this perpetuate these misunderstandings.

I don't want this to sounds too harsh because I'm not particularly offended and I'm only writing this in order to clarify the point. I don't want you to feel bad, so I'll lasso put some emoticons here to make sure this comment doesn't ruin your mood. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ (=・ω・=) (●'◡'●)ノ ヾ(☆▽☆) ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I don't think he's bipolar he just isn't a well structured character. When the person said inconsistent they weren't referencing a mood disorder in the character, they were more talking about the way the author had written the character didn't make sense and was underdeveloped and unexplained in terms of personality and motive. If they had said this in terms of a real person I think your point would be justified, but as he is a fictional character I think calling his actions inconsistent is in a literary sense correct. Also considering he tried to kill the mc one minute and then become best friends with him the next I would say his actions are a bit more extreme than bipolar ( ̄∇ ̄")
