After reading the latest chapter, idk if I could still stand reading this manga even when it updates. I can’t understand the extent for which the MC had feelings for Hiroto, but (based on the latest chapter so spoiler for those who haven’t read) it is NEVER worth taking your life for someone else’s affection. If anything, her meek character in itself at the beginning had me iffy about reading this manga in the first place cause it was kind of obvious how fragile she was gonna be about the whole situation with Hiroto dating her sister. The fact that she was still selfish enough to want the guy even after she found out he and her sister were dating was just downright a bad decision in itself. After reading a bunch of shoujo, there comes a time when you realize there is a fine line between helping someone out of an unhappy or absuive relationship and out-right stealing someone’s lover. If she had not discovered that key, would she have just taken her life and make her sister, family, friends, and Hiroto miserable just like that? As much as Hiroto acted like an ass during her first time jump, in the original timeline, he thought of her as both a good friend and sister. Taking her life over the whole situation in the original timeline was not worth it and would have just made her seem like a petty person (Again, I can’t understand what amount of feelings she had to have had for Hiroto to go as far as taking her life). If anything, the best course of action for her would’ve been to still confess and take the time afterwards to avoid him in order to gradually accept the rejection, not go through this whole mess only to inevitably KNOW he was not gonna like her anymore once he met her sister in the long run. If anything, that would have made her even feel worse knowing he may or may not cheat on her or break up with her anyway for her sister eventually. I can’t empathize at all with the MC and think her overall decision for just that momentary happiness was not worth the amount of hurt everyone else was going to feel at the end of the day.
