Yeah, that's part of the reason why I find this story to be so good.
If think that he is not a bad guy but, like the main character, he has been cursed. Maybe he is from the family of the man the main character's ancestor cheated with and he has to broke her relationship to break free from the malediction! That or he is the descendent of the one who was cheated on and is cursed anyway because as the old saying say "Before You Embark On A Journey Of Revenge, Dig Two Graves".

Disagree. He is either the descendant of the tiger that cursed the family or the tiger who cursed them himself, after all. And revenge leads to only one grave. Letting bullies hurt others and continue to do so leads to more than one grave. Finally, Mr. Lee was talking about how this time could not turn out like the others. Since Hana's mother found her partner but her sister did not it can't have anything to do with whether or not Hana's ancestors or her immediate family find their partners, obviously.
