Why does everyone hate the story?! I ENJOYED IT

It had flaws. But they were rather realistic flaws compared to the idealistic situations I usually see in yoais. The issues stemmed from a lot of real things I see even in my own company. Was he supposed to just run away with Mr. Yoon? A married man, an heir? With a wife? Taeyul wasn't perfect, but he filled the emptiness that Mr. Woo felt. Don’t forget it was Mr. Yoon who made that emptiness. Yul did some wrong things, and a perfect manga would have addressed them and add “I’ll never do it again” but this isn't a perfect manga.

Life is not perfect. As an adult, there are people you must let go and cannot have. There are people you can't seem to let go. And even when you move on, you don't always have the time to address pain.

This manga works because it runs in real-time. He is a working man. He has a job. He can't run away to some island and contemplate his life. He used all of his savings to get back on his feet. Admittedly the end was rushed, and there wasn't enough time for small explanations, but for christ's sake, it is 66 chapters, and the author was probably tired. For a story this long, I found the pacing satisfying and the end was acceptable given where the story went.

He would either end up with Taeyul, or stay single. Mr. Yoon is out of the question.

I'd consider this an excellent read with flawed characters, but as I can see in the comments, flawed readers as well. Not that that’s a bad thing. I think people dislike it because it isn’t perfect. But that’s why I like it.

What are you thoughts?

:) Thank you for reading.

I also loved the ending. Mr. Woo explained to yul that he hadn't wanted to break up with him but did it because he needed to save soohan and that he isn't going to follow after soohan because he wants to be with yul. I felt it was a sweet and appropriate ending. Soohan could have explained what was going on at the start of their relationship, he could have also given up on his revenge but chose not and continued at the expense of their relationship. He brought this all on himself. Sure yul isn't without his flaws either but i could still tell his feelings for his naush were genuine.
