The details the author had put in place of war and cataclysm, fueled by hidden agendas and opposing philosophies, building up to this touching yet awkward moment between Randel and Alice...I'm just blown away! I know at times it may seem long-winded and rhetorical, and that Alice seems to be naively pursuing her own sense of self-righteousness, but it's her passion that drives the narrative. Let me just segue way into my thoughts about my favorite character...GODDAMIT RANDEL OLAND! Don't go losing any body parts! Jesus how much can a superhuman fucking body like yours take?
