Sounds like the most cliched romance stories to me. The awkward protagonist is once again treated as a pervert while the actual perverts are treated as completely innocent and pure. Too bad women represent the latter in these stories. They're trying so hard to make women look like 'dumb bitches'.
Technically, you are saying that he is only using girls for his needs, whether physical or social.

Everytime Minamoto-kun kisses or get it on with a girl, I just can’t help but cheese so hard and joyously scream internally. The way the author make him approach girls is just so casually smooth and almost realistically romantic not in a shoujo way. LIKE the guy isn’t a player, he loves his girls and they love him too but I say it’s way better than those stereotypical anime harems. You have a main character who know his limits about love. I like that. More like I respect him because he doesn’t chase every women that passby but he love the heroines he chose to improve himself as a person and to have these heroines have a better connection to society. Notice how every heroine he encountered has changed after meeting him. NOW TELL ME, IS THAT NOT ROMANCE?! DOES THIS NOT MAKE YOUR HEART GO DOKI-DOKI? ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
