At least in the US, what some porn companies do is have their actors do regular STI testing. Like every few months or so. And those who can get pregnant are on birth control. So, they do have real sex, they just try to take precautions.
Yep, they are real and because the public prefers barebacks, they don't use condoms. And yes, it's risky because of STDs and they have to regularly get tested. Also, because we are influenced by porn, it promotes not wearing condoms which often leads to accidents.

I don't mean to offend anyone by commenting this, but I come from the country where porn business is illegal and kept well underground, ...so what is the diffrerence between porn actors/actresses and prostitutes/gigolos then if they did sex service on demand? Or are they on the same level in ur country too? Cus I know some well known hollywood actresses were porn actresses before..
In my country if any actors ever got out they dealt with porn business before, their fame will go down the drain in no time
In the US, there are lots of people who are famous because of sex tapes or because of paosing nude or doing porn. There's an awards ceremony for porn stars. Even prostitution is legal in one state. It depends I think, but for the most part it wouldn't have a negative impact on someone's fame unless they have a certain image.
The difference is that a prostitute sells itself on the streets or somewhere else to anybody that offers money and that makes them seen as "cheap or less" while porn actor/actress, doing porn is their job
LoL, but i think prostitutes/gigolos will also consider those things as their jobs...i'm aware that in areas where prostitutions are legal and have read about it too.,it's a collaborate system no? Because it's also a business, even big ones..the pimp have their customers, and they sell services..they own some area and not just random on the streets.. and they go by their set of rules just like any jobs..i don't really see the difference tbh..it's like the same basic principle..the people involve may interchangeably experience both sides of doing porn on camera, or only to some who required the service..
yeah it just comes down to how their income is made. both professions utilize their bodies but pornstars are not dealing with direct customers. they are adult actors with the intent to broadcast their sexual acts where fans can accumulate and buy their movies, merch and whatever else, prostitution deals with customers directly without professional lighting + cameras and just build their clients from recommendations or curious passerby’s. the latter has more dangerous consequences if they cross paths with shithead customers /:
