Knowing the truth, some director should turn this into a korean drama which runs long af. I'd spent my lifeless time with quality.

i doubt that would happen, theres literally zero lesbians any any Korean drama, so if you think they'd make a lesbian drama that has a this many sex scenes then you might be a little delusional. It could be a movie, but I doubt it. Korean is really behind on LGBT+ things compared to the U.S

I'm not being delusional,a lot of short films were made this past two years. Commercial actress Doona bae portrayed a lesbian role in a sk movie, In 2017 "Our love story" received an award. Few of my friends who live in south korea attended their pride march in seoul. Lgbtq+ media is transforming massively all over the world. Maybe it'll take few more years but this GAY genre will be in MAINSTREAM, US is like regina george for the world so obviously it's the trend setter somehow.

Well i do know there are movies that have lesbians relationships in them like the one you just mentioned and the handmaiden which is quite popular in Korea and even in U.S, but again there still is no chance of this becoming a drama. It took a really long time for America be more accepting to the LGBT community and South Koreas still needs more time. Short films and movies that were made independently are very different than tv drama that are on big network like MBC, SBS, KBS, TVN, JTBC. These network are watched by many people in South Korea so for them to have openly gay relationships on tv is already a lot for some people in South Korea and to sex scene would be insane. I would love if we could see more movies and tv shows with or about LGBT+ in South Korea, but I just don't see that happening anytime soon.
