This Yaoi is quite unusual. Generally, we get to see a strong and wealther character for the Seme, and a weaker Uke. It tends to be heterosexualized and too unrealistic.
Reality is tough, there are all sorts of individuals with their strong and weak points, often weak and not glamorous looks.
BL world is often an idealized univers filled with beautiful and cute people, with lots of sex etc... But this one is touching, it is more realistic and shows how struggling a love story can be, moreover when it's gay relationship.
The art is pretty simple, but cute too. It's good to see diversity in art and let authors growing.
from the perspective of someone who couldn't get through chapter 2, I'd have to say it's
1. The art was sort of ok. It wasn't the worst, it wasn't grand, it was a little below what I'd consider ok.
2. The transitions we choppy and difficult to follow and I found myself constantly being brought out of the spell of reading to figure out what had just happened.
3. There was too much writing in places thereally was no need for which left me skipping entire paragraphs.
4 (and this one is just a personal opinion) the seme irritated the hell out of me and all I could think was "how dare you impose your opinion of happiness onto someone else and cause them pain when you were the one who won them over by confessing and being sincere all the time, just to fucking run away"
The overall consensus is that
a. It had characters that irritated the hell out of me and
B. I believe it was a newbie work, and therefore not very well done
So no I'm not going to give it a good rating but people enjoyed it which means I'm sure this author is off to a good start.
