I always prefer English names, cuz I always get confused among Chainese names when other characters mention someone in conversations I am like 'who are you talking about???' and have to go back the previous Chapters to check out the names again..
I think if you read a lot chinese manga, novel or watch drama or anime you'll get used to it. I mean in the end it is the same with japanese or korean names, if you read it a lot you'll remember the names.
I prefer their names as Mi Fan and Lin Yin and not some odd Mervyn and Evan
