you kinda got a point but she still loved him after all those years. I think everyone would need to put an end if they can't possibly move on
Everyone needs a closure and thts wat she needed. And besides the guy’s been hurting her without knowing. He had to know so he can at least be careful with his words while she’s hasn’t moved on yet if he really cared for her as a “brother”

Why did she even confess her love to her friend if she knows that he is madly in love with his wife? Why confess just for the sake of it? You can move on without possibly destroying your friendship.
