The girl was saved from falling down the stairs as a replacement for moon since her step mother wanted to send her to the palace. The fox that saved the mc is in love with moon, however moon does not trust him as he is a for demon. While he tries to save moon from jumping down the cliff a dumbass priest or whatever thought he pushed her down so he cut him in the back. Because he is injured or possibly dead, the magic that he did is fading so the mc is disappearing.

Moon is her ancestor so every time an ancestors life is threatened she starts to disappear, weather it’s moon or her child
I'm a bit lost. What's the connection between both Moon? Didn't the Fox Demon summoned the girl from the future to the past? Then why is she disappearing when the other moon fell down? What's the point of future Moon to bring in that time line anyway?
It's been a while since I last read this. I picked this up again at ch.22. And now it's at a cliffhanger.
