Masato didn't heal his wounds by himself though.
If it wasn't for his friends pep talk he would still aimlessly going through this guilt trip.
Also if Asahi went after him I don't think it would solve anything without a clear mind.
Afterall if Naru and little brother didn't came back, they probably let their lust takes over.
They need some time alone to calm down and clear their thoughts.

I think Asahi could've done and said more. If he once did and it moved Masato. If he tried harder then Masato could've seen the truth without Iku telling him.
