if you plan to go into graphic design after high school then i would say stick w it because schools wanna see that but if its not something youre serious about i guess it doesnt really matter. if you dont think its fun or want to pursue it, it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks
Question, what do they really do in the first years of Graphic designing? Im in computer programming program aswell and im wanting to switch into Graphics design..
I'm not sure what other Graphic design classes are doing, but my first year of Graphic Design we did screen printing and vinyl. We also mostly worked with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. It all depends on what your teacher wants to focus on.
At my highschool were deciding are schedules for next year. My school has this program for Graphic Design. It's a two year program, and I've already taken a year if it. We aren't really doing what my teacher told us we would be doing in the class. It takes up four of my classes and I can only take core classes when I do take the Graphic Design class. I just don't know if I should really drop the class since everyone is telling me it would be a huge mistake. Especially if I'm really interested in graphics. What should I do? Should I stay in the class even if I'm not enjoying it?
