why did the wolf say gay people disgust him...? he had no reason to right?

because in most parts of japan it is seen as a horrible thing to be gay and since the people he was with were super against gays, he had to pretend to go along with them cause if he said he would be fine with it the others would have treated him poorly (sorry i wrote a lot)
