Of course! Shoujo means girl in Japanese and is a genre tag for manga that are usually targeted towards young females ( kids and teens). It’s the female ver of shounen which means boy in Japanese and are usually targeted towards boys.
For romance manga it will be tagged romance
What's the usual stiffs going on with shoujo? I understand shounen more cause im more interested in watching shounen~♡
I’m actually not a huge fan of shoujo but from what I’ve seen, it’s anything teenage girls find appealing
This of course includes romance manga, a lot of shoujo manga is focused on romance but shoujo can mean a wide range of things, a lot of them with nothing to do with romance. One example is Hakkenden, which is probably appealing to girls Bc there’s a lot of hot guys lol
