Sorry up voted meant to down vote but i don’t think bard is selfish he didn’t plan to leave, but then he realized he didn’t love her (Izla) like he loved maya. He knew he liked maya but didn’t know how much, and his dad was pressuring him to get married. Tho I do kind of feel bad for her
I felt bad for her too, but then she was like totally alright with someone being sacrificed so that she could have a baby, even though it was obvious that Bard was ‘friends’ and cared about the sacrifice, and she wast just standing there talking about how excited she was about the ceremony and what she was going to wear? Like really?
