Her father only came back when he heard he's first wife died probably i bet probably hes relief that shes gone and he can go back and he can bring he's other wife and daughter without even even thinking how was he's daughter that he leave behind if she's alright,if she's doing fine,and how she feels,he didn't know that while he and he's other wife and their daughter leave a happy life he's daughter that he leave behind is suffering in pain,and look in he's return he didn't even think about how she's feeling and he didn't show any love at all thus she hated her father even more and the only people that know how she feel is the maid and butler in the house but not her father because her father is stupid jerked in the very beginning!

Yeah he's a complete asshole he abandons her and right after her mother just passed he moved in with a new family not even asking if she was okay or how she's been but instead treats her like she's an outsider or unwanted
