The amount of rape manga's published recently is insane

It just seems like mangakas are using the rape trope because it's easier than actually establishing meaningful connections between characters.
All of these mangas follow the exact same structure; seme rapes uke, seme says "soz about that lol", uke falls for them.
It's lazy and low-level work, people need to stop excusing it and realise that criticism is essential in order for stories to improve. If these mangakas wanna explore rape in their work then sure w/e, but for gods sake explore different character dynamics.
I'm so tired of it :')

I so agree with this! The storywith this trope does not have any depth. Tbh, i don't care if a fictional work contains rape or whatever, but my problem is how it is presented. I don't have any bad or good feelings about the specific manga but i am just bored. Following an old trend has became so tiring.

yep thats my biggest issue as well, i can understand that rape is a fantasy and people use these stories as escapism, but like....that doesn't mean that the exact same formula needs to be used over and over again.
There are so many dynamics that could be explored! Maybe i just need to accept it and not read them ( ̄へ ̄)
