Every person alive has backgrounds that makes him/her do things their way. A good story teller is the one who managed to bring a logical connection between their characters's characteristic with their past. I'm not saying I agree with her behavior. I'm saying that her character makes sense, strong and consistent. That's why I can't blindly hate her, because I understand where her behaviour came from. Also, she admit all of her mistakes, owning it, and reflecting on it, that's what strong people do.
Good story, beautiful art, unusual background setting, awesome characters, everything is perfect so far.
The only thing bugging me is the unusual amount of hate towards An in the comment sections. IMHO it's normal for a young doctor (an anxious perfectionist hospital heir on top of that) to act like that. She still inexperienced yet already has to carry the burden of maintaining a hospital's reputation due to her family's circumstance. It's very UNDERSTANDABLE if she becomes so tense toward others and herself like that. In fact, she's maybe my most favorite character here so far. WHY? Because she's a very strong character (a rare trait in mangas nowadays); she own her mistake, she apologize to those that she offended, she's ashamed of her behaviour and instantly reflect on it, she accept her cluelessness (bitterly) and ready to learn more about radiology. Yes, she almost always do something wrong (on purpose? i don't think so..), but NEVER once I see her doing something bad without fixing it/apologize for it/reflecting on it.
She just had a very bad behaviour, but not necessarilly a bad person.
