Yeah, it's the anniversary but why would the celebrate when they broke up?? He's with Shougo now...
Both Mitsuru and Kouichi look at their phone's remembering that it was their anniversary, but it's over for them XD
so ive reread this and it still hurts damnnn but i found out that the date that shows at the end of the extra, Nov 28, is their anniversary. you can see the date marked on the first chapter

they just simply waited for the day to pass... it's kinda sad if you think of it actually. something that you celebrate every year, and you thought would continue on for the rest of your lives, would be just another normal day of the year once you break up. :<
