Are you talking about chapter 2 ? Because it's Itou who says this, hence why Takase thinks he's strong because unlike Itou Takase can't do that, he can't accept himself.

I'm a bit confused at what Takase said abt him not minding "other people's looks and stuff" but then he really minds what other people will think if he came out :((
