But that's the thing, this is actually what happens in schools. You're trivialising the bullying that people go through. I don't like that they sugarcoated her bullying because kids can honestly be cruel and to tone it down in the drama for the public to be comfortable is pretty much hiding what happens all the time in real life, right? School staff like to trivialise bullying because it's uncomfortable to think that otherwise nice students would try to destroy another student.
Before you say this is "exaggerated", you can search up how a 13 year old Korean girl was bullied by female delinquents in her school and had to be hospitalised due to how severe the beating was.
I feel you trivialised her harrassment as well to call it exaggerated. There's a Korean show that talks exactly about Gangnam beauties and how they're stigmatised. Just go look at any of Park Bom's articles, people often call her mentally ill and disfigured, and how she looks so unnatural it's disgusting. And maybe you're privileged enough to live in a space where the other harrassment she got doesn't happen, but unfortunately, it does happen in Korea.
I get that you might not believe the whole thing about the senior calling out all the freshmen (maybe you're too young), but Korean culture values hierarchy a lot. You're not allowed to talk back to your elders and the seniors often bully the freshmen by randomly gathering them and punishing them if even one person doesn't show up. You should really check out the news in Korea about the K-Pop sex scandal and related news about how women are drugged, hit and intimidated to giving in to men.

You sure are delusional, you're exemplifying extreme cases that don't suit your argument. The harassment on >THIS SHOUJO< is exaggerated. They used a way over the top harassment to "Destroy" her way of thinking when she were already destroyed. Every time I saw a out of place harassment i just felt pity for the writer.

Lol, based on your comments, sounds like YOU'RE the one who needs to chill. Calling someone who is referencing documented cases of bullying/harassment "delusional" doesn't sound very chill or respectful to me at all. Just because your own experiences in your community/country/culture aren't like that doesn't mean it's not like that in other places.
I've decided to read after watching the drama a few times and it's kinda tiring. Even tough i can understand the characters personalities, they're a little tiring. The storyline feels kinda messy and disorganized. It's funny and enjoyable at most of the times but i've read 20 chapters and already feel exhausted.
