I, too, have high hopes! I like to think that the straightforward way everything's put is in lieu of apathy that Jinyoo (?) developed as a result of his traumatic experiences. I mean, it is being told from his perspective after all. But I'm hoping it gets better. And I really, really wanna know whether the author intended for it to be funny or not...

Good observation! It’s true that he’s dealt with so much trauma that maybe it just doesn’t impact him much anymore.
But on that same note, if it’s not impacting him then it’s certainly not impacting me. We’re supposed to be seeing things through his eyes so if he’s cool, I’m cool! Know what I mean? and again, the story has moved so fast that I don’t know him so him being attacked and sorta tortured doesn’t give me that rush like it would if his character was built a bit more. Stories like these really depend on the characters to carry it.
And LOL! That is definitely true haha! I laughed at some parts and didn’t know if I was supposed to. If the story is a horror comedy then I might be going too harsh on it.
My kinda story. The weird shit the possessive shit the noncon, I love it. But the webtoon needs work. It’s moving too fast, so fast that I don’t have time to really know and build a relationship with the characters. They all seem like strangers to me. I hope that the mangaka slows it down just a teeeeeny bit, and works on building these characters a bit more so that the crazy shit will have more of an impact. I do like the story, but as I said, the characters and pacing need a little work. What made color recipe and killing stalking so great was not only the story but the amazing character development, seeing people unravel right before your eyes. I hope to see the same done here.
