EXTREMELY UNPOPULAR OPINION

Tbh I'm more with Joowoon, like I kinda feel bad for him lol. Analyse it from a real perspective, when you act like that and everything, it is pretty obvious that you like each other, it's natural to "provoke" each other sometimes too (well, they are taking it too far and for too long, and in this aspect I absolutely agree with you all). Even when Haesoo's mom found them out, what could you have said? "Yes, we are dating Ms.Lee?" That's really far stretched, consider the situation and the emotional state you are in, it's more likely you'll deny it. Although knowing Haesoo, Joowoon should've said those three important words "I like you", but even then, would he have believed him? Probably not either, Haesoo doesn't take Joowoon's words seriously. Their relationship has reached a point where they really need to distance themselves from one another, especially Haesoo, since he's tends to overanalyze things and then hang upon to some details that others wouldn't even consider, unfortunately there is a miscommunication going on for too long. Taku, on the other hand, is perfectly fit, he comes between them just at the right time. He's super straightforward, something that is lacking in his relationship with Joowoon. Taku said all the things he wanted to hear from Joowoon, lowering his defence barrier and making him aware of his emotions. Taku is basically screaming "all the cards are open on the table, you have the upper hand of the situation, I'm at your mercy, just so you know I like you, lots." I really like all of the characters, I just don't get why Joowoon gets all the hate, lol. In my unpopular opinion, both Joowoon and Haesoo are at fault.

Well, for me, it's things like Joowon saying don't fall for me, like he did when they were younger, and then turning around and treating Haesoo like his possession. But I do agree that Joowon cannot be the only culpable one here, it's both of them. I just find Joowon kind of abusive and inconsiderate towards someone he claims to know very well. They absolutely need to be away from each other for a long time. Haesoo's overthinking and anxiety will be the death of him, and Joowon is a major contributor. And Joowon needs a dose of reality; he needs to realize, like Haesoo already has, that this current relationship is incredibly unhealthy and unnecessarily painful. Haesoo choosing to meet Taku over staying with Joowon is a step in the right direction for me.

Thank you for posting your point of view and analysis! I really wanted to know what the reading community thought about this, especially since I really love how the author portraits their extremely complicated relationship and character. The problem with Joowoon is that he probably doesn't realize how much anxiety he is provoking to Haesoo, which is real bad, and if he knows that is even worse. But seeing Haesoo starting to feel shaken by Taku and slowly moving on is a good thing for him. Let's see what happens next! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
