honestly if this goes anywhere story wise it more than likely will end up as them both being adults before anything happens as for the reason she took the girl in it is simple she took in the daughter of her one and only friend so really i see no issue with it seeing as how in japan and some other Asian nations if your parents die and they do not have enough savings or they did not get along with the family and more often than not the children end up in institutions that really are not good places to live in or grow up in at all
I would have loved this....if both parties were grown ups.
