I'd always put my kids first, at least for the first 3 years. And it's only three years, it's not that much of a time loss. But it's the pressure in today's society and it's almost required to put your career first. Which is actually so unnecessary if you look at it... why can't we take it slow, watch our kids grow up and then put energy in our career, so dumb

    Yeah. You're right. Society sucks. Here, losing the early years of your life means essentially giving up on having a career. Population explosion has millions of fresh graduates trying to get a job so "oldies" even if they're just 30 is not needed anymore.

    White I do agree there is a trend going on in today's society where people tend to prioritize careers first before starting a family, I think it's more the norm (because of pressure) in Asian culture and well, anywhere that is more traditional and conservative, to have kids and essentially become stay-at-home parents, especially for women. I think sunbae is the one in the wrong here. Both partners should handle childraising. Not fair that Hosik can't go back to school (and he himself wants to).
