This is so real it’s painful. This is EXACTLY what a victim of bullying would feel. I tell you, there’s no way Itonaga can truly believe in Sanada. Not yet, maybe not really ever. It’s his acceptance of the perceived lie and that he totally believes Sanada will end it one day because there’s no way Sanada could really like him. This is so believable. For those that haven’t experienced anything like this, this is a really good depiction of what a victim feels like.
