in korea its not illegal but it will make you a societal outcast
What???? Is Korea really that prejudice like that? Even though it's not illegal? That is so tragic & unfair. (︶︿︶)

Yeah it's pretty bad in korea -- more than 60% of koreans are against the LGBT community.
That seems so messed up. I thought Korea was a lot more open-minded than that. It just seems so tragic and unfair. I thought love was love. Is things changing over there? Or are they staying the same? Are there hate crimes?
Well from what I've seen family have a tendency to throw you out (ruins their honor) or if they decide to keep you they want you to lie about who you are and keep up the pretenses of being straight. Or they send you off to conversion therapy no questions asked. Sometimes they abuse you to. But publicly you'll be ignored or dodged. In school it can lead to bullying.
Oh my gosh, I hope he gets the panda. What I'm really worried about is , he didn't tell his friend yet? I forgot he kept it a secret! Is this any place that if you are in a lgbtqia relationship, you can get hurt? Or Arrested? I don't know the laws of this land.
