Exactly. And it required the sacrifice of an innocent, pure child to get rid of No 1077's darkness, so now No 88 is a murderer, too. But 1077 went "crazy" while No 88 did it in his right mind out of love. It's actually a sorta Shinigami Shounen Ai.
Right. I would like to see more of what the author can do with the story.
Panel 11 - No 1007 gets easily influenced by spirits. No 88 goes against the rules and help No 1007 by removing the spirit and eradicate it. That’s what I get from the story.
