Same here. I think it's how the mangaka has a tendency to exaggerate features that it almost looks borderline caricature-ish. I really like the art style as well, it's very fresh and the way Akiko is drawn is so elegant!

I love the aesthetic that the whole thing gives off so much! Also this style is a bit...I can't discribe it...like a mix of western and eastern comic style to the point where it makes something entirely different to look at. Its mesmerizing to me !
