This is what I kept on telling to my friends who are a bit antsy with how Ritsu acts. Because it is not easy to forget those things which Ritsu has believed for the past 10 years.
But this manga is really making me bit at the edge as well uwu
I will really hate it if it ends not them being together...
I kind of understand why Ritsu thinks and acts this way.
People are getting mad that Ritsu had been dragging their relationship to progress but people let's be real here.
If you have an ex lover who you thought played with you then saw them again, will you be able to accept their love immediately or accept it to yourself that you love them (again)? Ritsu did realized that what he did to Takano from the past was stupid and that Takano didn't played with him but Ritsu grew up as an adult thinking so.
So for those people who talks shit about Ritsu being annoying af, empathize with the characters first. This manga is not the type of manga yall have read that escalates quickly. This manga is about 2 people who loves each other despite being away a long time and most likely need more TIME to realize what love really is for them.
