    .

I bought this on lezhin when it first came out and it’s been complete for awhile, so excuse any mistakes. There’s 32 chapters in total and the plot centres around them not having sex, but really navigates through their own personal issues. Frankly that blonde dude, Lauren, is really irritating through this comic.
The backstory is that they hook up one night and continue to do so till they move in together. Then they stop having sex, which is the blondies decision. I forgot his reasons - something equally as irritating as his character - likely that they are already together so what’s the point. They end up getting a therapist to help them and then it’s just a journey till their breakup.
Lauren isn’t out to his mother. His asshole of a father was love with the pastor of their church and was gay. He ends up abandoning his family after he thinks he fulfilled his duties as a father and leaves with the pastor when Lauren was young. His mom after gets depressed and is obsessed with Lauren not being anything like father and constantly makes comments about how her good son isn’t gay. So he had his trans friend named Jaqueline pretend to be his gf when he meets up with his mom. He would lie to chip where he’s going as well.

After a therapy session, Lauren listens to the therapist advice about how Chip (his bf) isn’t going to stick around when Lauren doesn’t give him something to look forward too as they work through their no sex issue. So he holds his hand and starts to be affectionate and asks him out on a date. On said date in the park, Lauren's mom ends up seeing them kissing and starts to interfere. The mom shows up at their apartment and Lauren, chip, and his friends are there. She ignores chip every time he talks and then makes a comment about how she wants Jaqueline to catch her bouquet when she marries her new bf. About how nice the pictures will look and that they should have dinner again and talk about the future of their ‘relationship’ after.

Chip is obviously hurt since his mom clearly knows they are together. Lauren still continue to hide it and asks Jacqueline to be the bridesmaid at his moms wedding and to catch the bouquet. Chip finds out and is upset. He ends up drinking late with his ex and comes home early in the morning. Lauren didn’t care where he was and Chip wanted him to be jealous and worry what he was doing. After everything lauren has put him through and ignoring him when he felt lonely or when his feelings wavered , he ends up cheating on him with his ex after and continues the affair.
Lauren ends up going to his moms wedding alone and finally comes out to his mom. After, Lauren confesses to chip that he told his mom everything. He said he told her because chip cheated on him ( he found out after chip came home smelling like cheap soap) and that for the first time he thought he could really lose him. This whole time he thought chip would just stay with him regardless.

Lauren tells chip that if he says him cheating was a mistake and his crave for physically companionship, he can look past it, however, chip gets mad since lauren is making him make the decision for the state of their relationship. There’s problems might’ve began with simply sex, but now it’s Lauren. That even if Chip left because he didn’t love him anymore , he wouldn’t fight for him. He would just accept his decision. Chip ends up leaving him and Lauren does nothing to stop him. They end up breaking up, but the therapist steps in and makes up some lie for them to end up in the same place. When they meet, they end up talking and get back together. The end.

oh man, i was really excited for the story, and it seemed interesting until the end "they end up talking and get back together".... that really threw me off. what's the point of the whole story then? #-.-)

My thoughts exactly when I read the ending. Nothing resolved - just them thinking fate brought them together. But it's actually a good read if you want to continue, but I can guarantee you will be frustrated with Lauren the entire time.
He does have his reasons for not having sex with Chip or admitting he's gay. He's afraid of his mom and because of that any time he felt himself getting feelings for someone, his heart would close off (he says something along those lines in the comic)

I know Lauren makes some comment about "not being gay" or something along those lines in the beginning, but the way I interrupted it and from what I can remember about the events that happened - it's because he's afraid. He says he's afraid in the comic about his mom finding out and the way she instilled "You aren't gay like your dad, that's wrong" comments all his life. So he had sex with men up until the point of getting together with Chip, but he could easily pass that off as just sex. But being in a relationship, living together, and being affectionate would have to make him fully admit to himself that he is gay after running away from his mom homophobia. He's still annoying as fuck though with his apathetic attitude

Whoa, reading the summary and this bit, I can tell I'll be too invested in the story and rage over Lauren every single chapter... But I'm gonna read this anyway, sounds like a good story xD
I get that Lauren has his issues, but not being willing to at least try to work them out is just unfair. Though I don't condone the cheating, I understand why Chip did it. But in the end, I think both of them are selfish and are better of finding new partners xD
