..she wasnt content at all..the whole chapter is her revealing to her son that she was terrified of the way society treated hybrids. She though for her whole life that she was blessed to be born without any defects but suddenly she found out she was growing scales all over her body, making it OBVIOUS she was a hybrid (which she despised being). Which led her to give birth just before killing herself
Oh then that's why she said that her life was complete then....I thought she meant like: I change my mind, I will accept my life as is.
But instead she meant that she was ready to die....

because she was happy to knoww that Legosi was to grow up "safe and normal" instead on focusing on her self hatred she decided to live through Legosi who became her pride and life.
I'm not saying it was right of her to commit sucide but knowing that her son was going to be ok made her content.

Well yeah she is..still I don't like her no matter what others say.... She was being couardly and preffered to do the world a favor and hide her "hideous body" instead of standing up for herself. I know that people do that even to this day and I hate it..
