Oh? Hm, well it must be different for those of Korean decent? Sort of? I mean compared to the Japanese they cut off hair because they are being disowned from the family (the exact same way ^). (That's what I've read/seen). But that is interesting to know! (although I'm not sure if the Japanese wore knots or not?? Sorry ;;). I do love history and I do like learning new things!
I thought so! (I just know they all do it a little differently because of their cultures which is something I'm quite fascinated with!). *I didn't know about the headwear though! :o* I like stories (no matter the type) that incorporates historical stuff in it (of course some do change it up in a more,'fantasy' setting). But still pretty cool nonetheless! (≧∀≦)

For people who didn't know, a parent cutting off a son's top knot in ancient asia times meant that they have given up on this person or that there son is disobedient. It's a big disgrace tbh, extremely humiliating because you can no longer wear the traditional head wear. it's like cutting off your's son's heritage. Meaning that his father knew what he was doing and marked him as being a dishonor to his family and country.
