it did except it never said anything about her best friend remembering her past life, so that was really shocking for me to see at the last page. i'm predicting that instead of katarina remembering the dark user(forgot his name) storyline and wake up to save mary, it'll be sophia who will save mary instead since she remember her past life now
Huge Spoiler Alert...
If I remember correctly, it was a aeries of bonus chapter or something. The bonus chapter start off with this highschool girl (who reincarnates as sophia) meeting another clusmy highschool girl (who reincarnates as katy). It shows the two girls forming a friendship, but it quickly ends as katy dies. I don't really remember how sophia dies, but at the end of the chapter, we see Sophia wake up from her dream. Sophia doesn't remember her dream, so she shrugs it off. You probably didn't see that part in the novel because you probably skipped it. Don't worry though, I skipped it too at the first couple of rereads since it didn't really look like it was connected to the story or set in the same world as the story.

I like how the manga is going. I hope the ending would be different.
Even though im okay with the novel's ending, it still feels incomplete.. lol
