the only thing wrong with the manhwa is that Sanghee remains a cute ditsy princess for like 140 chapters while the men who did so many bad things to her get away unpunished.... and their behavior is encouraged by the author when they get more exciting storylines, and cool/ handsome looks for fans to adore... despite being totally disgusting sexist human beings. And the main character does nothing at all except sit around and watch men do stuff. That's why i hate that manhwa and I am so glad this vampire manhwa is a breath of fresh air because the female main character is actually being a main character for all her chapters instead of cutesy comic relief. And that it actually calls out the Duke's dangerous mental behavior and how he treats other, instead of making it "typical male behavior" and making it something to look up to, despite it being trash behavior.
The moral of the story here is, Just because you favor one person that sucks up to you, doesnt mean you aren't trash if you can't act like a sane decent person to everyone else.
This is what "They say I was born a King's daughter" lacks. it immediately forgives and idolise the men despite them not changing one bit for the better

its written into the manhwa, all the sexism and tyranny are never really put in front. Instead author forgives them by making them likable characters to look up to and be role models. For example the king is made to be this handsome and cool father, without ever addressing the fact that he has a harem of mistreated wives and daughter. Not treating the antagonists as antagonists and treating it like "men will be sexist cos they are men and its normal". Her brothers and her fiancé as well. Its established that they are clearly tyrants that order people around and yet nothing changed and we see "how cool they are", "how handsome they are". Its the fact that the story focuses on how great the men are, even though Sanghee is the main character and that the men in the manhwa are the domineering antagonists. Even the guys doing something right was because Sanghee sucks up to them.. not because they believe in fairness and equality. And the manhwa writes it like thats a good thing....
its like imagine if Voldemort becomes a hottie and more than half of the movie is about how strong and cool he is, while Harry Potter sits around.
I think the problem is that, the change that took 14 chapters for Maid and Vampire, took 143 chapters and counting to address for "King's daughter" since it was never about Sanghee as she gets treated as mere comic relief while guys have cooler powers, cooler storylines and never needing to answer to their tranny and sexist mindsets. so for 140 chapters, I was almost convinced that author prefered sexism.
I feel so sad but I was tired of her being fake so I'm glad she said something that she truly felt. It's kind of like the other story where the girl who's reborn as a princess where in that country, women are looked down on(like slaves) but the father seemed to like her and the brothers too. But it's understandable because she could've been killed where in here, people who are vampires are seen as scary and he seems to like her now where I don't think he would kill her.
