I mean it’s kind of required to show us his backstory at some point with this kind of story. Up to the author, but I think they will.
I somehow need it too but at this point, I kinda just wanted him to vanish asap and bring that annoying assitsnt with him
In my opinion it doesn’t seem like he was forced to do anything by his father. Through Hak’s memories we get a glimpse of what Soowon was like as a child, he had a large interest in the world and the well being of others. Then his father was murdered. And unlike Yona and Hak who spent most of their days in the castle, Soowon lived outside and spoke with the commoners too. He saw how King Il failed to provide what Kouka needed. Soowon didn’t just “turn bad” or even looks like he was commanded to do anything. He is just a product of his circumstances and of his own opinions.
Yeah, I want to see his backstory. I'll probably feel sympathy for him at some point but it doesn't excuse him actions.
GIVE US SOOWONS BACKSTORY. We know it had something to do with his father, he has always been so sweet but seemed like since he was young he was being forced to do something. Even though he did something quite awful I still fancy him so much.
