i thought the same but you should also look at it from their point of view, its not easy to come out as victim of abuse and admit its actually a lot harder than you think not to mentioned it seems lşke they've been under the influence of abusers as aduşts their whole life so they might not know how to approuch the situation i'd except the teacher to know a bit better as at first she seemed more in control but i think she is also under the influence of a lot of emotional trauma and had been for a while now so even if she's older she seems just as scarred i hope they pull through though, even if they killer him i think this count as self defence? lets hope they find a good lawyer

I completely agree w/ @Alara it's easier said then done from an observer's pov that's never been in there traumatic experiences. And as a aftermath there is all of sorts of mentally and physical hurdles the individual has to overcoming within themselves. To try to get back to some what a normalcy. And even then they will never be 100% of the person they used to be before.
