Why’d he have to hit the blond hair guy. Like if they’re partners why is he getting hit for not making her stay inside I think that was her responsibility as an adult. Smh

He told him that an injury Sica had he would get too. Knowing him it's lucky that he stopped there. She made her own choices but it was still his job to watch her. Plus Ibget the feeling Karsus always follws through with his threats/warnings. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Are u really trying to support Karsus for trying to control Sica. He shouldn’t have made such a statement in the first place blind hair cares for her too it’s not like “he let her out” (which is already dumb since she who tf are they to tell her not go out). how does that statement help anyone like wow he’s so badass for hurting his own team mate cuz another got hurt due to their own actions. Sounds dumb af to me ( ̄へ ̄)

Tbh... would you say a parent is wrong to not allow their child o leave the house a night. I think you’ve just caught wind of the wrong attitude, he’s not being possessively protective I think it’s more like a guardian, of course only when it requires common sense (not the romantic bits) she was in the tower and lacks knowledge so is sometimes treated somewhat like a child

Alright let’s say I agree with karsus being a parental figure to her (I don’t; that’s wrong in other ways) the point I was making was his violence towards blond guy was completely fucking wrong.

    Ya!
And imagine the extra anger at the thought that he was paying so little attention that he might not even have noticed if she was taken against her will.
Because she walked out on her own there is that factor it was her own choice, but his job meant that not noticing her leaving meant he wasn’t caring enough

So y’all saying when one “parent” (which they are very much not) fucks up (which they also did not cuz she’s the one at fault for being a dumb bitch who doesn’t know how to use her brain) the solution is for the other “parent” to give them a black eye. I’d say both of them are equally at fault if it were that “serious” they should’ve both stayed and “kept close watch” on this little child who can’t listen to her “parents.” You’re telling me he didn’t care enough is that what you say to parents who trust their KID (ONCE AGAIN SHE IS NOT cuz why the fuck would the tower be like ok go out and explore u little woman child) and lose them in an ACCIDENT. Idk how y’all have managed to grow up so sheltered but congrats i’M fUcKiNg iMpReSseD.

No your right, as two parents hitting one over lack of effort over taking care of the child is not right. This is because you both have equal responsibility over them and you should probably do something more serious (not violent I mean something like getting the rights to take care of your child or something) if your partner is not just lacking, but seriously bad at their job.

However, their not both in the ‘parent’ situation in the scenario given, I only used it as a comparison because, despite the romantic interest between the two, the difference in the ML and FL world knowledge is like that of a parent and child, therefor he was protective. The other guy that got punched was a newcomer and did not share the same responsibilities as ML, they were merely passed on while he needed to do things.

ALSO, main focus here, the person that is sheltered would be you since you don’t seem to understand that knowledge that your saying she’s stupid for not knowing is something that people only really gain through experience. She has been hidden in the tower for her whole life, how is she supposed to understand the world she’s been thrown into, not just it's rules and concepts but also the things you take for granted. Like that people can betray you, or going out alone at night, even if your capable isn’t the best.

He’s not her parent and maybe violence isn’t the best way but he has been charged with protecting her while she helps him on this case. The other guys lack of effort not only endangered his relationship with the magic tower from a business sense but also the life of a girl (who is sheltered enough to seem like a child to him) that he cares for.

You clearly know nothing about duty and honor. The blond guy was a knight, his duty was not only to follow MC and ML to investigate but to follow ML's orders, what ever it may be. He failed to follow orders, he is lucky just to be hit. When a knight/officers/guards fail to follow orders, they are either booted from their duty (if they are lucky) or killed, and as this is based on those times, he could have been killed no questions asked. When your mission is not only top secret but the outcome decides the fate of the country are you seriously going to just leave him after a few punches? This whole mission depends on the MC who is best at evil monster and the veil, had they really failed to save her, could he shoulder the consequences of failing to follow orders? He got off easy is all I am saying.
A girl who depends on books to understand society will have a romanticized version of it, you cannot blame the MC for not understanding how dark a persons heart can be, like you cannot blame me for not being able to speak Japanese the moment I land on Japan. Unless I am taught, aint nothing going in my head.
