What popular (or “classic”) manga/anime you didn’t like?

honestly same, I agree w/ both. Idk if Kimi ni todoke is a classic, but I'm pretty sure it is,
I just couldn't watch it. I finished the first season but overall, it was quite bland and boring to watch
it was kinda cute tho ig

I did watch Kimi ni todoke and it was pretty cute, gotta agree with you. And maybe it’s the slice of life genre (specially school theme anime) that it’s not of your liking. I feel that many animes of this genre end up being like “meh.” Not very boring or very interesting. Just watchable.

I have not watch most of them, mostly because:
A) The genre it’s not of my liking
B) I don’t like old animes (aside from Sailor Moon and maybe Candy Candy).
C) I don’t see myself following the plot.

i understand the god of high school(had a good plot but ended in a wrong way now all over the place) and fairy tail (mostly because it had too much fan service than plot)but why not the rest of them (=・ω・=)

Boku no hero academia, I liked it at first but then the story went sour after I found out that the plot was originally planned to have Midoriya stay quirkless. I prefer this so much over than Deku luckily getting gifted with an OP quirk since it would have proven that a person with 0 quirks can still become the 1# hero.
Along with that, I despise the poor writing of the female characters. Even the main heroine, Uraraka has not been relevant plot wise since the school festival arc which happened years ago.
Also, Kacchan is a dxck, no matter how much redemption he gets I can never like him for bullying and orchestrating others to do the same to a kid with no quirk. For gods sake he even told Deku that he can get a quirk in the next life if he just comitted suicide.
Poor Deku still flinches whenever Kacchan is around and starts trembling whenever Kacchan talks to him.
Kacchan never does anything to try and make up for what he's done to Deku and with a fat ego like his I don't think he will be giving a genuine sorry anytime soon.

damn you took the words right out my mouth and a quirkless deku does seem like a good plot with great development and im glad im not the only one who see's something wrong with kacchan even if he did say he was sorry i still wouldn't believe him because he was a big bitch and did petty shit and always starting shit with him for what having powers now damn little shit and if deku was still quirkless i bet you 100% he would still be a jerk to him.lol sorry letting off some steam) ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

I was going to say the same. Very catchy opening, but (in my case) I never got motivated to watch the anime.

I have watch many of the anime you’ve mentioned I like them. However, I never got into The God of the High School and The Seven Deadly Sins. I try to watch a few episodes but... nope. It wasn’t my taste.

I see where you are coming from. For you, he was too much to handle. Plus, you have very strong ideals (what is right and wrong). For you, the things he did cannot be undone no matter what. I totally see and understand your perspective.
