I think it's the perceived risk that they will default to a traditioanl hetero relationship because it's 'easier'.
Why is being bi a wildcard to some? Like yes i could be dating a girl and I'm not interested in her anymore and then i date a guy. But the girl I'm seeing could do the same to me and date another girl.
