Well, technically, he is lying all the time, by hiding his true character and acting all nice and fluffy only in Jihye's presence… the only time he is honest is when he tells him he likes him… So I understand why Jiyie is so confused XD he is probably sensible to lies, but with Gyoon he doesn't know where the lies start end where they end… it's going to be interesting!!
