I understand that feeling too but I think they are waiting till all the cards fall in place. They still need to take care of the 3rd prince but they are pretty much using the first prince as a shield (I'm not sure if he knows tho) I guess it's tactics wise. I also believe his legs are in the process of recovery, there is physical therapy he has to go through that if anyone found out about it could be sabotage. so if people think his legs will never recover then they would have a better chance to let it fully heal. (no doubt with all the snakes in the family someone would try to harm the prince if given the chance)
Man, I wish she would just take the casts off the prince's legs already. I mean I understand that it takes time and all that, but it's been a couple of months already and I hate that he has such an inactive part in the plot. I want to see him walking and wrecking all of these petty political conflicts already.
