Unpopular opinion: they’re all making poor choices, not one, but all. Henry is the king of mixed signals - seriously, we get it, he’s feeling super wedged btwn past/present and he’s acting out his confusion. His confusion is rattling Seth, who isn’t sure where he stands, and continues to let himself be a comfort space for Henry, despite it slowly breaking his heart. And Sam, well, he’s had an epiphany and is acting out his panic by inserting himself into things prematurely without considering the consequences or with empathy for Henry (who he knows is confused). They all need to slow their roll, think before the act...ya know, like grown adults should and then have real conversations, rather than acting out their feelings. Frustrating as they all are - I can’t stop watching the train wreck.
I find it interesting that people are now blaming Henry (yes he kissed him back and tbh there's no excuse for that) even though Sam is the most frustrating one ?
Up until now i couldn't decide who i wanted Henry to end up with, but seeing how pushy and downright creepy Sam is....yeah i'm team Seth all the way.
Also, is the author supposed to make me feel bad for Sam ? Like yeah he's suddenly realised he's in love with Henry but dude's moved on, and yet he's out here trying to fuck that up. Move on and take no for an answer.
