Yay! This is a perfect ending (if it is the end?). From the first chapter I thought I’d drop it, but the author gave juuuust enough to keep me interested. I knew Akira was the one. He was understandably screwed up, but used his past as a crutch to not face reality. Mizuki and his step mom were enablers. Hajime didn’t put up with that weak crap, lol. She forced him to grow up, accept it and move on. Every. Single. Time......he fell apart.
I don’t blame Mizuki for anything. He’d always seen Hajime as a very close friend and super fan. Yes, he latched onto her after Noah’s death, but he was traumatized and Hajime jumped in. I’m really glad I hung in there because I really enjoyed it. Also, I was grateful to the author for sharing their personal story that led to this manga.
