I started reading this when I was in a really bad place in my life and I really sympathized and felt where Da Ae was coming from. I mean not entirely because it was really extreme but getting meals from guys and making them feel special so they would look at me at the time seemed like the only way not be alone. Although a lot of messed up things happen in this story I appreciate the happy ending she got and all the depth to her character. It was nice to see something so dark grow and have a lighter ending where most people grew from these horrible experiences, without pretending the awful ones didn’t exist anymore.
