WeLp i can try so, the boy
yellow dragon has taken form of was once a human twin. He was chosen to be sacrificed to an ancient serphant. And was reborn as yellow dragon

so yellow dragon is his own person right? not the boy who was sacrificed?

I think they're both you can't separate one from the other they both form Yellow Dragon

I like to think it works like the trinity of God, but only with two people. Just like God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit are one and also individuals. Perhaps in this case is the duality of The Serpent god , where the Prince and Yellow Dragon are one, but also the two of them individually. Yellow dragon is, his own person. Maybe because we don't see the Serpent speaking as a separate entity within the yellow dragon duality, it is more difficult to understand who yellow dragon is, but ultimately, even though he was born from the prince and the Serpent god, he is his own persona. The prince is himself too, and the existence of the Serpent god is erased physically but spiritually, is the representation of the powers that yellow dragon has.
Conclusion(sorry for my pointless verbiage) : Yellow dragon is a god, who is himself but composed by two, the other party are also themselves but they collide in the fact that they both love Dojin and share the same body.

1 black serpent + 1 sacrificed prince yooshin = 1 yellow dragon...yd retains both souls/personalities...all 3 entities love dojin
