I hope so but I have a feeling it's not. It seems like they'll have more hardships to come
She'll probably be shocked at first, but I don't think that's going to be the case, the story needs a friend character who accepts them and my guess is that it's her.
Something along the lines of "why would you pick an idiot like him"
